Now I take it for granted that all over the UAE, women – who are highly revered as the carriers of life and backbone of society – are given certain advantages. Yes, there are frustrations that’ll make you spit, but there are women-only queues (which are much shorter), ‘pink’ taxis with lady drivers, and Metro carriages exclusively for women and children.

The scene here on the road is women driving porche or ferrari in burqua.
I dnt understand the contrast.
Freedom under the hijab .
Looks like it .
Women wearing jeans and body hugging top peeping out of half clad burqas.
Looks like its the socio cultural norm and the govt which is bounding the ppl . Otherwise the emirati women are actually walking shoulder to shoulder with any other chickest female in newyork.

Contrary to what people across the globe might think – women in the UAE enjoy a great deal of freedom. The bank texts are for fraud purposes; it just so happens that as the primary card holder, our husbands tend to get the messages.

And, compared to an initiative in neighbouring Saudi Arabia – worryingly called Relax! We’ll track your wife down! – the UAE’s electronic trails are nothing. A text is sent to the male guardian of any female national who leaves Saudi to alert him of her departure (though maybe it is the woman who gets the last laugh, as the text doesn’t say where she’s gone).



All in all, I think they have it amazingly good here, I reallydo. Certainly, there’s a lot of misinformed opinion around the world. However, the truth is the UAE is one of the most liberal countries in the Gulf.

book review: MARRY ME STRANGER

Curling up in a chair and reading the latest Novoneel book was the literary equivalent of eating a moist slice of Death by Chocolate cake, an experience you relished every moment of and left you hungry for more.


For a typical novoneel reader, one is always hungry until one reaches the climax in any of his books and discover some mind spinning twists about a charater that run chills down our spine, but unfortunately, I was so convinced that the twist would be about a specific character that when I came to the conclusion, I was left hanging. Im sure im not the only person who wasn't completely satisfied by this book, but its worth reading as we know our senses are going to be satisfied as its a trilogy and two more are on their way.
 Besides, I was surprised the book had a creepy ending.

'Marry me stranger" by Novoneel is an adventure, tons of twists and turns to keep you on edge in which the characters become your friends.After I was done reading the book my heart filled with empathy. I felt like I too was in love with the idea of a man like "Ekansh" once.
But probably the biggest reason that this author's books are going to be bestseller is because this boy writes to entertain.  Unlike many authors, he has no airs or shows off his knowledge, or tries to impress you with how beautifully he can describe a sunset or how good he writes.He entertains you.  Period.  He nails you to the first page and keeps you turning them all the way till the end of the book, increasing the tension to the point where you’d stay up all night just to know how it all turned out! This is what Novoneel does .



Wat makes a novel best seller...its the connection which urges the reader to get into the shoes of the protagonist. The empathy towards the plot and the charecter.This is what novoneel knows how to play on with .The boy has talent and reminds me of late sydney sheldon after reading his latest marry me stranger and string of books written by him .His heroes are truly inspirational, strong women who also maintained their softness and femininity.I guess all the fans of late writer( indian as well as international) can quench themselves through his writings. Its SYDNEY SHELDON REBORN!!!!

We often talk about unconditional love, as if it were a real thing. The truth is that there is no such thing as unconditional love; we all love conditionally. However, having someone love you back is not one of those necessary conditions.

In fact, we often fall in love and continue to love those who don’t love us back as passionately. We all love that which we can’t have, and if we find someone that doesn’t want us it only makes us more desperate to have that someone.

That’s a bitch, ain’t it? You fall in love with someone who doesn’t love you back and knowing he or she is trying to push you away only makes you want to latch on tighter. The more that person tells you he or she doesn’t want you, the more your imagination concocts ways of making that person fall for you.

I speak from experience… as people, we are capable of chasing the person we are in love with for years and years on end to no avail. Every time we are turned down, we fall in love a little deeper. Or so we think.

Most of us have a difficult time distinguishing between romantic love and love itself. Romantic love is more a sort of obsession than it is anything else, and it’s romantic love that makes us want that which we can’t have.

Romantic love is what turns our imaginations on high and makes it impossible to start thinking about that one special person. The best part of it all is that we love being in love romantically, no matter how much it hurts.

Being in love with someone who will never love you as much as you love him or her shakes you to your core, but you love it. Don’t get me wrong, it hurts. It hurts a whole lot. At the same time, it makes you feel more alive. It makes you feel more “in the moment.”

It opens you up to a side of life and a side of yourself that you didn’t previously know existed. It’s the sort of pain that you never forget, but at the same time look back at with a sort of fondness and sense of nostalgia.

how much is too much

With time every human comes across so many kinds of its own species that literally one cant distinguish them in black n white form...life is grey ...agreed....even ravan had a good part to add on to his personality so did ram....point arises when people start something they cant finish and get into their own trap

.someone real close said to me today....we pass though phases.....love phase and hate phase.....with the same person....sometimes you love that person ....sometimes you hate that person....when we love....we get intimate...so intimate that we say things....things wch are black n not white......and those black things should never be intimidated at the time of hate........you still tend to love that person of that particular time and moment when you were together...in love....when he she was good to you....you love him her for all the goodness....

but you hate him for what he did for another moment....hatered so intense ...you feel he backstabbed.......you can watch his knife peicing through the core of your heart ripping apart all good memories....flowing out in form of tears....

in the end what wins....nothing....coz even the memories tend to fade with time....
when a relationship ends....we say its he or she who has lost something not me....its never that ways ....its always two sided  .....its just that some people clean their shit....and others try to show that they never did it.....
